Pray for revival
Father,
You are holy. You say, “If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
As a nation Americans seek first the Kingdom of God and Your righteousness. (Matthew 6:33)
We ask for godly sorrow of sins that leads to repentance to fill the USA. We ask for revival in all fifty states, homes and churches. May Americans live for You and think about being judged or rewarded if they do Your will or not. (2 Corinthians 7:9-10, 2 Corinthians 5:10)
With godly sorrow Americans ask for Your mercy for our sins instead of Your judgment. (Amos 5:18) We confess:
- Foreign gods
- Removing God from government, schools, courts and military, and taking the Holy Bible and Christian prayer out of schools
- Not demanding God’s unalienable rights – our God-given rights to Christian life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, conscience…
- Helping the wicked
- Abortion
- Unjust wars
- Coveting
- Homosexual sin, adultery and fornication, and
- Occult, sorcery and witchcraft.
We repent. We receive forgiveness of our personal sins and our national sins by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:7, 9)We pray that Americans would seek morality, virtue and piety as our Founding Fathers say for Americans to do, instead of sin. (Proverbs 14:34)As You say in 2 Timothy 3:5 and Judges 3:9 Americans turn away from the wicked and cry out for a Christian Government to immediately replace Barack Obama and those disobeying You. Jesus says, “You shall not murder” (Matt. 5:21), but Obama says to leave living babies to die who survive botched abortions. That is evil. Americans follow You. You aren’t with those disobeying You. (2 Chronicles 19:2)We praise You for Your mercy endures forever. (2 Chronicles 20:21)We thank You for answering us. (Mark 11:24)In Jesus’ name. Amen. (John 16:26-27)
